Backup or Transfer Contact between android and old nokia through single vcf file
Today i tell u how to backup or transfer contact between your old nokia & your latest android through a single Vcard (.vcf file) using windows pc.
Due to limitation in symbian platform, you have to use nokia pc suite on your windows pc or at least 1 windows pc.
1) Nokia PC Suite
2) Csv to Vcard Converter
3) Google to Nokia.exe
Now u have all to get started..
1) Install nokia pc suite on your pc and start it. Now connect your nokia phone to pc in pc suite mode & wait for syncing between pc and nokia.
2) In pc suite, click contacts. A new contact window appears with all phone contacts. Select all contacts by using CTRL + A.
3) Go File Menu -> Export. Add filename & Save in target directory. Ensure Save as to be .csv format.
4) Now install csv to vcard converter tool. Import csv file in this tool & export to vCard File (all contacts in one VCF file). This VCF file act as a backup file for future purpose.
5) Transfer VCF file to your android phone or memory card & import this file using import/export option in dialer.
An alternative approach is to download Super Backup app from play store & restore this VCF in contact backup menu.
1) From Dialer Import/Export option, Export contacts to memory card. transfer this VCF to PC.
An alternative approach is to download Super Backup app from play store & backup VCF in contact backup menu. The default saving folder of this app is sdcard/SmsContactBackup/contacts/ .
2) Open 3rd mention software (Google to nokia.exe). On the left Google to Nokia Side, click choose google file button & select your exported VCF. Click import contacts button.
3) Make a new folder on your desktop.Then click Export to Nokia button. This will create VCF file for each contact.
4) Now go to nokia pc suite with connected nokia phone. Click Contacts.
5) Go File Menu -> Import. Select all VCF that are created by the software & Import them.
